This program is designed for people thinking about going into a career with animals. If you have ever wondered what it takes to care for rescued wildlife, our Wildlife Educator for a Day experience offers a behind-the-scenes look at the daily work of our dedicated animal care team. Designed for passionate animal lovers considering a future in wildlife rescue, education, or conservation, this immersive experience allows you to observe, learn, and participate in the essential tasks that keep our sanctuary running.
Under the guidance of one of our Animal Experts, you will:
• Shadow our team as they care for our rescued animal ambassadors. • Assist in preparing specialized diets and feeding the animals. • Help maintain enclosures to ensure the animals’ comfort and well-being. • Observe and participate in enrichment activities that encourage natural behaviors. • Gain firsthand insight into the challenges and rewards of working in wildlife conservation.
While there is limited direct contact with the animals (for your safety and theirs), you will experience them very up close and play a meaningful role in their daily care!
Why Join This Experience? This is more than just a visit—it's a chance to actively contribute to the well-being of animals rescued from the illegal pet trade and other harmful situations.
